Dry and lifeless skin is one of the most common problems in winter. These days our skin becomes dry and rough while the natural glow disappears. Surprisingly, we all know what to do, but no one has time! We often overlook our skin when dealing with our work, life, relationships with family and friends. If you are also unable to take care of your skin in winter, then here are some simple treatments that will help you to make your skin soft and supple.

1– The first thing you have to do is stop bathing with hot water. The water should always be semi-warm. Hot water makes our skin rough which causes itching.

2– Always use a good moisturizer to hydrate your skin. You can also use coconut oil if you like, which works to heal your skin as it has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which works to soften the skin.

3– If you are looking for a good homemade face pack to keep your skin healthy, you can make oatmeal and milk face pack. You need to make a thick paste of oats and milk and add a few drops of honey. Apply it all over the face and let it dry. Once it is completely dry, wash your face with lukewarm water.

4– If you are keen on healthy food, you can also use cooked papaya. You have to apply it gently on your face and neck for 5 to 10 minutes and then wash it off with cold water or gently remove it with cotton wool. Vitamin C in papaya helps to remove dryness from your skin and makes your skin glow.

5– There is a very old home remedy to brighten the face and soften the skin, in which you will need yogurt, honey and rose liqueur and gram. You have to make a paste of gram flour and apply it gently on the skin in 2 layers and then wash it with lukewarm water. You can also use this ubtan 2 to 3 times a week.
